Every year, many churches hold evangelistic meetings geared for adults, leaving kids both squirming and bored to death. Amazing Adventure attempts to change that by holding a set of Bible study meetings made especially for kids ages 8 to 12.
"Amazing Adventure will be enjoyable for both kids and parents. There will be exciting illustrations, interactive Bible questions, stirring music, and then a gospel message aimed at their hearts that is both intriguing and inspirational," says the event's website.
According to the site, the program will help kids learn more about young Bible heroes (David, Samuel, Daniel, Josiah, and others...) while highlighting a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Topics include: God's Word, the devil and the origin of evil, the second coming of Jesus, law and the Christian lifestyle, salvation, the Sabbath, health, the truth about death and ***, baptism and the church, and heaven and commitment.
The series will run from Friday, September 12 to Saturday, September 20, 2008. Each nightly program will run about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The first hour will be for children and their families, while the last half hour is a parenting seminar for the attendees' parents. You can watch each broadcast live on 3ABN and on the event's website.
